About Me

Your Name Here

Hi, I’m Emily, a graphic designer and passionate advocate for animal welfare!

I’m currently in my second year of a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design at the Arts University Bournemouth, where I'm honing my skills in branding, typography, and mixed media - You could call me multi-skilled!

I thrive in small teams - there's nothing like a cosy studio and some hybrid work! My goal is to support my future pack of rescue animals, so my work is for them. Is there room in the studio for a pup…or piglet?

I have experience as a freelance designer for a headstone and masonry company, where I handle special design requests. It’s a unique field using Sign-Lab to clean line art ready for vinyl cutting, it has deepened my appreciation for typography and taught me the importance of precision in design.

One standout project at university was my collaboration with Imagination, a design studio in London, during my Post-Growth project. While I discovered that the city isn’t quite my scene, the experience was invaluable, especially presenting my work in a professional setting. Helping others is the best part of being a designer which is why I also enjoyed the Super-People project, where we worked with live clients to create branding that met their needs. It was rewarding to see two of my designs chosen!

If you’re looking for a friendly, professional, and eager-to-learn team member with a knack for humor, I’d love to connect! And remember, “smile and wave!”
